Also, a leader in cruise ship design and construction. A reference player in all high-tech shipbuilding industry sectors, from naval to offshore vessels, from high-complexity specialized vessels and ferries to megayachts, as well as in ship repairs and conversions, production of systems and mechanical and electrical component equipment and after-sales services.
Reliability and durability are the essential part of any naval vessel in combat missions, so Naval Group and Fincantieri started working with RKB to develop spherical roller bearings for Navy frigate.
As one of the best-regarded big sized spherical bearing manufacturer in Europe, RKB was successful in engineering a large-size main shaft bearing for the military vessel application. The bearings are up to 340mm inner size and comply with safety factor S0 according to military, offshore equipment guidance.
General characteristic of this military vessel is:
- Displacement 6,700 Ton
